MY EVER-SO-CRAFTY SISTER IN LAW!

My Sister In Law Kate, is a wonderful inspiration to me.  She is a very crafty lady and I love everything she does!  She sent me pictures of some cards she did recently and I thought I would post them here!  She is my crafty partner in crime! Please take a moment and look at the beautiful cards she has done!  I love to bounce ideas off of her and get her opinion about projects, and sometimes about life in general.  Thanks for sharing these with me and everyone else, Kate!

MY FIRST JOURNAL

A gift that I made for my husbands sister for Christmas!  I used my new Cinch machine that my husband got for me as a gift.  I love this machine!  It is so super easy to use and makes such cute journals!  I used the flower and letter A from the Cricut Cartridge Storybook.  The embossing is a folder that I used with my Cuttlebug machine.  I used some cute green ribbon to fasten it shut.  I hope you enjoy looking!

Christmas Cards 2010

Initially I had "Let It Snow" ready to go on these cards with some flocking and I thught it was really cute.  Then my husband said, "I like Merry Christmas on cards...  not a big fan of Let It Snow."  I was a little upset about it because I thought he didn't like it at all, then I realized that he liked it, but he was just saying how he likes the saysing of Merry Christmas in a what seems to be a society that doesn't allow that to be said as much as it once was.  So, to go along with what he recommended, and our beliefs in the true meaning and reason behind Christmas, "Merry Christmas" is now on our Christmas cards.  A bit more appropriate than Let It Snow, right?  I think so!  This card uses a snowflake cut and the word Christmas from my Christmas Cartridge on my Gypsy.  Thanks for looking!
